Astraea, goddess of justice, was the last of the immortals to abandon the earth. She lived amongst humans during the peaceful Golden Age when no evil existed. However, as humans became corrupt and violent during the dawn of the Bronze & Iron Age, Astraea fled, taking refuge in the heavens where she became the constellation Virgo. This piece imagines her giref and disillusionment: a woman alone in the bath, glass in hand, her sorrow falling as stars rather than tears.
